Daughter Journey

I started this blog as a way to update (and let's me honest, vent) during the long and trying process to adopt our Cassie from Mexico. Now we live on an island called Batam in Indonesia. So the Daughter Journey has shifted from what it took to get Cassie home to what it's going to take to survive as a family of four Texans in Asia. Here Mike works six days a week, ten hour days. So it's up to me, and I've never been less prepared for anything. But I'm game!

Live long and prosper

Just a matter of time before he starts to collect comics I'm sure. J was so impressed that Pop (my dad) could do this, he practiced until he could also pull it off.
