I am still overwhelmed that she is here. I still can't believe she's RIGHT HERE.
A quick recap. We didn't leave home, practically, in July. Aside from HEB I just kept her at home. Jack had a couple of day camps that month and Mike went back to work almost immediately. I was hoping he could take a couple of weeks off, but that hasn't happened yet. By the end of the month we were all on a pretty good schedule, then we messed it all up in August.
August has been hellishly hard. We went out of town each week, introducing Cassie to family all over Texas. Tomorrow will be the first Friday in August we have not been on the road coming or going! Even the dogs were starting to wig out, too much kenneling Iguess.
One of our trips was to my hometown where Cassie was baptized in my hometown church (Jack was also baptized there). That same weekend Cassie had an intro party at my mom's, and a trip to the emergency room! Like I said, it's been quite a month.
I'll catch up later on Jack starting 2nd grade and more Cassie stuff. And thanks to SherryQ Jack and I can't stop singing the Infinity song!!
